Veloda is an end-to-end garment design product powered by AI. We enable designers to automate and develop accurate design patterns, renderings, and tech packs to reduce the technical burden in the garment design process for independent fashion design.

To better understand this complex product, I took the initiative to create an Information Architecture map. I then presented this to the team and we discussed potential user pain points and necessary UX restructuring.
To model the customized pattern-making feature, I used Figma to create an initial mockup. Here, you can see how adding details affects the final pattern (on the left panel). The user is also able to rotate the model to get a better look at their pattern in 3D space.
I worked on the branding for Veloda as well. We wanted to Veloda to be a merging of traditional, hands-on work and new, digital technologies. As such, I went for an overprint effect, where it appeared as if one color was vibrantly printed onto dark textile.
Shown at Cornell Tech's 2024 Open Studio, this is a high-fidelity prototype of the pattern-generation feature for Veloda. The tool would have the robust features of Adobe products, while also being more simple and intuitive for new users to understand.
This is the pitch deck our team presented at Cornell Tech's 2024 Open Studio awards. I wanted to incorporate motion through multiple means, but mostly through the Veloda watermark and floral decorations on the edges of the slides. These slides were designed and made in Figma before Figma released Figma Slides.
Veloda challenged me to to understand Figma to a much deeper extent than I ever had before — just to figure out how to best utilize the smart animations for our pitch deck. Because I was simultaneously working on this project and on Pibble, it was incredibly fun to see the diverging directions I could exercise my creativity within two completely different aesthetics.
